What is a poem?
Our time together will be an exploratory of the poem: its origins and evolution, its purposes, its forms and surprises, and, above all, its great powers and pleasures.
We will explore how a poem is constructed to gainits specific reason for being.
Since poems are often questions more than answers, open discussion will be highly valued.
