The Way of Wabi-Sabi w/ NAOMI KUBOTA LEE
April 1 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Welcome to the world of the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi. We will compose very personal pieces of wabi-sabi art, loosing ourselves in the philosophy of seeing the Perfection in the Imperfection. From the wabi-sabi tradition, we will observe and create from the natural world – from the gifts of falling leaves, branches, worn river rocks, natural jute, among other materials. If you wish, bring personal or found objects to integrate into your artwork.
$35, $28 OHCA members, $2 materials fee.
Materials fee to be paid to the facilitator the day of your class. Members, please enter coupon code MEMBER upon checkout to receive your membership discount.
Comments from past workshop attendees:

“I learned so much from you. And you created such a feeling of calmness…a feeling that was also descriptive of the concept.”
“Thank you for one lovely day. I hope to do it again.”
