Visual Perception Workshop w/ Cayen Robertson
March 25 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Saturday, repeating until July 29, 2017
The purpose of this workshop is to create the circumstances for being struck by the power of looking at and creating visual art. The workshop provides a place to experiment, to work freely and intuitively and to develop an awareness of how the way we work and what we create, in turn, works upon us. In each session, an extended work period will be followed by the group gathering to look at the art that has been created that day. Group discussions will focus upon the language of seeing and perception; attention will be paid to such visual elements as color, texture, line, space, form and light. Challenging materials will be introduced to help develop one’s own visual vocabulary as well as the recognition of one’s own inner necessity to create what is enlivening and authentic.
Every Saturday, 10 a.m to 2 p.m:
