Learn traditional oil painting techniques while using Water Based Oils in this fun painting class for beginners.
Participants will learn fundamentals for mixing primary colors, mixing grays all with use of the palette knife. While learning to paint with this rich paint, participants will create a variety of paintings on canvas board, from surrealism to realism to impressionism and even a pet portrait.
Use Water-Based Oil Paints – no mess or fumes.

Water Mixable Oil Paint:

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Jennifer Siegal received a BA in Studio Art from the College of Creative Studies, UCSB 1990 and attended the MFA Program at Otis College of Design.
Right after school, she was hired by Disneyland to draw Pastel Portraits, and 30 years later, she continues to enjoy working from life in pastels, from Still life, Landscape to Figurative. She has taught Studio Art for over 15 years in LA and recently moved back to the Bay Area.
Jennifer Shows at the Marin Open Studios every year and has a display at the Chamber of Commerce store in Sausalito. Born in Montreal, she also enjoys teaching Afterschool Art at the Lycee Francais in Sausalito.
